This tape is strong. I works well but beware that it can over-correct a very sore tendon and make it hurt during rest. It's best to only let a trained physical therapist apply and manage.
The tape does the job. However getting it off without ripping your skin is hard to do. I tried their suggestions and it is still hard to get off. Then once off large pieces of black adhesive are left on the skin. Ugh.
stick to my skin. I have since found a kt tape that sticks and stays, but it wasn't this one.
Still the most reliable tape but I often buy less expensive tape. The price is steep.
Again I love KT Tape but because I have sensitive skin the extreme is too much for me.
It really does help but if you went swimming with it on like the guy on the package, it will start peeling off. I use it on my wrist a lot and have to try to avoid getting it wet when I wash my hands. When I shower it starts peeling.
I’m a 70 yo old female athlete. I’ve used KT for years. Black is the most durable and does not come off in the shower. I let it come off on its own bc taking it off is hard and can be painful. Leave it on until it loses its grip. Over 2 weeks. Fine w me. I get my partner to tape my back and neck. Use it for muscle pain after lifting or hiking. Great stuff! Don’t mess w the bright colors, they don’t last as well. Some of the tans r ok but black is best IMO.
This is a package of 20, 10” strips which are pre-cut. You can also cut them further if necessary. You will also find tons of rolls of this sort of tape. Fortunately, this brand offers lots of different videos, on their website, to show you exactly how to apply the tape for different areas and for different treatments. It’s not just as easy as sticking it on. You really have to watch the videos and follow along closely.
Tape works great (Especially for knees) I am having issues with it staying on during water aerobics. Normally it will stay on for two weeks without issues.
I am a frequent user and believer in kinesiology tape, and in the standard KT brand tape. However, upon buying and using the Pre Extreme version due to its advertised better adhesion and longer wear time this is my review on Pro Extreme. Simply stated, it is not as good as the regular. Ends started to peel within hours, edges started to fray within hours. It still did the job of regular kinesio tape but in now way whatsoever was it better or worth the money. I found the house brand from Walgreens to be far better than the KT Pro. Save your money and get that.
Bought this for my son. We wanted something to wrap his foot for basketball. Unfortunately, the strips come off or start to fray very quickly (within 15-30 minutes of putting them on and that is without even working out yet). We made sure he cleaned and dried his foot prior to adhering the strips. We attached the first 2 in. of the strip, then stretched the middle section over his heel before attaching the last 2 in. without stretch. Our solution was to first wrap athletic tape on the spots where we going to attach the strips. We then added another bit of athletic tape over the top to keep the strips from coming off.
I have used this and the regular tape and can say with absolute certainty that this tape does not stick when wet AND that the regular tape sticks better. For these reasons the less expensive regular tape is a better buy because it works better and costs less.
Pretty sticky and supportive so far, but the tape starts fraying immediately once you put it on. My regular KT tape doesn’t do that so I’m not sure what’s up with this.
I tried two other version of this same brand product and they had fair results; however this one is totally not what it says. It says extreme pro for sports etc. but unlike other ones, this is the weakest sticking tape I had so far. I tried this due to it’s been a few dollar cheaper; but won’t worth any money as it won’t work.
